Sweden, the 90th most populous country in the world, has nearly ten million people. China, the world’s most populous country, has over 1.3 billion. In fact, five of the top ten most populous countries in the world are located in Asia. India, the world’s second largest for now, will soon surpass China in terms of population, while many countries in Africa are expected to grow larger as well.
