United Arab Emirates: Emirates - Geografispel

There are seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is the largest and most well-known. Abu Dhabi (also known as Abu Zaby) is nearly as large, with a population of almost two million. Those two emirates alone comprise 75 percent of the total population. At the other end of the spectrum, Umm al Qaywayn is the least populated emirate. Taken together, the seven emirates comprise one of the wealthiest countries per capita in the world.
