Lemurs, Antananarivo and baobab - welcome to Madagascar! Lemurs are native only to Madagascar and might very well be the most famous residents of the island. Capital city Antananarivo, or Tana for short, offers plenty of historical sites like the palace Rova Manjakamiadana situated on top of the mountain Analamanga. And if you come across huge baobab trees on your travels, remember that most are endemic to Madagascar.
